Taylor Hill – Owner/Instructor
Taylor started King of The Hill Baseball in the summer of 2008 as a way to help youth baseball learn the skills needed to play high school and collegiate baseball.
Currently, he is attending and playing baseball for Clackamas Community College. He is entering his Sophomore year of eligibility, but his third year of school. Last year, he helped lead his team to the first playoff appearance in 13 years, earning 5th place in the NWAACC. He earned a save in the first playoff win for Clackamas in school history.
In the two years of operation, Taylor has given individual lessons to over 20 kids, as well as team lessons, totaling over 100 lessons thus far. He has helped baseball camps for Sherwood High School, Portland City Baseball Club, and Northwest Diamond Sports.
Taylor grew up in Sherwood and attended Hopkins Elementary, Sherwood Middle and High School. He graduated in 2007, playing 3 years of Varsity baseball. Received several All-league pitching, outfield, and utility honors, as well as All-State pitching honors.
The latest accomplishment of Taylor’s includes the 2nd-team NWACC Relief Pitcher award and ABCA Rawlings Pacific Association Division Gold Glove Pitcher award (Best defensive pitcher in Junior College baseball out of 124 colleges in Oregon, Washington, and California).
Taylor is a very qualified baseball instructor. If you would like any references, I have several former coaches, college coaches, and parents who are willing to give input.
